I have a few of those, (removed) from my take off/hanging around
set of eom style 69s with oem Michey 18s: they are all "patched"
from the inside, and never had a prob.

My newer set of 19 132s also caught a screw like that in a very
similar location on the tread, on driver front: patched from inside
and I don't give it a 2nd thought.

I realize many here think the safe/high road is to buy a new tire,
but for street/highway driving at less than 8/10ths and under
a hundred mph, I personally don't give it a 2nd thought.
