When you say reprogrammed, what are you referring to?

When you guys indicate that you are'nt getting smoke, is that no smoke at all?
When you put the foot down does it drop a reasonable amount of smoke out the rear?

Thanks

reprogrammed,I mean the cars ECU file where you have the parameters for Fuel & boost have been optimized(increased).Generally, a reprogrammed car will smoke more than standard! When we accelerate hard, it is characteristic of Bmw Common Rail system to show a small puff of white smoke followed by a little black ,but only at that moment (it will not smoke under continuous hard acceleration). This applies to standard or reprogrammed cars.Reprogrammed cars with a lot of smoke under continuous hard acceleration, have been badly programmmed!!!!Mine, for example, has been done so as to only increase fuel pressure at the Rail when boost comes in.(this is how the major Bmw tuners do it,like Schnitzer,Hartge)

Hope to have my project done in a few weeks

Regarding the smoke in your car.would be interesting to see what your Bmw dealer says!.....................................
