The pools will be closed, unfortunately. The beach club, though IS on the lake. There is a tiny (and I mean tiny) beach area there. In
Center City (or uptown Charlotte), you will find
Discovery Place, an activity museum for kids, which is very cool.
I will ask the wife for more kid-friendly activities and/or options.
