Goes back to the whole notion of why can a car go over 75mph in the first place. Seems rather dumb to me, why wait for the parts to hit the car, why not go right after the after-market seller and nail them before they sell it to someone not associated with official racing...oh I know...because it is dumb.
BTW, who said you had to modify a car to race it? Buy a M3 or any other performance model (WRX STI, etc) all of those will easily work as a street racing vehicle.
