havent put it into my x5..i have it in my 323 e46 and yeas i can shift off the paddles...i was told theyb will wrki in x5..i just need $...in the car its awesome..shifting off the wheel, very fun and so much easier on long hilly trips!!.
**.NO it has no airbag..u use yr old round one..(airbags for like 400 alone!)
do some research and u will see that it will wrk and is awesome fun and saves wear and tear on yr stiock for re-sale!
