Yea, sorry. I posted in both forums. The tech did some high speed stops to burn off the glaze, I could smell the pads cooking. This seemed to help a bit. But the squealing came back. He said that it was due to the extreme heat and the soft compounds of the brakes. Also said that I was not the only one complaining. I assume it will get better with continued driving? They told me to break hard once in a while. I am an aggressive driver/ braking, so this should not be a problem? Not sure if I believe the tech, but even my x5 is having brake squeals, a lot of dust and dirt in the air, along with extreme heat. About the mileage, the car is being leased, and that was the only 335i convertible not sold, new shipments were already presold.
