BMW Group vehicle sales this June increased some 6.0% over sales last June. YTD sales for the first 6 months of 2007 were up 4.5% based almost exclusively on increases in sales of the 3 Series which was up almost 13,000 units over the first 6 months of 2006.
Sales of the X Series increased 14.9% this month while car sales were up only 1.9% when compared to last June.
Sales of the BMW brand were up 4.3% this month when compared to June, 2006.
Total Mercedes Benz sales of 19,589 units this month represents a 5.8% decrease in sales when compared to the total of 20,802 sold last June. YTD 2007 sales for MB are up only 2.9%. MB trucks were down 7.0% in June but up 15.6% YTD when compared to the 6 month period of last year.
Lexus sales totaled 28,869 units this June, up 4.3% over the 27,686 sold last June. YTD sales were also up 6.3% for the first half of 2007.
