Hey Von,
I recently had the same problem with those and several other P codes. Like P0171 and P0174. After taking to two different dealers they at first diagnosed the same problems of intake gaskets leaking and valve cover gaskets. A few days later after ploping down close to 2 g's the light came back on. finally diagnosed bad catalytic converters and faulty o2 sensors. after that occured light came back on again and diagnosed again with a bad MAF sensor. so it was just a cycle of bad luck for me. finally everything is done and no more "SES" lights. Thank the bimmer Gods!!
