We have the 2002 4.4 full sport package and 20s, silver.
I know I'm new, but I hope someone will answer my Really stupid questions.
The navigation system is completely dead, we spilled water in the back, and i think that was the reason. The dealer said they have to change the computer (or something), for a cost of $1,200. I thought I'll check with you guys first. Save money and make new friends, what could be better than that.
Q: if i reset the computer by unpluging the battery for 15 minutes, will this harm the car in any way.
Q: I wanna check all the fuses, can i just take them out, check'em then put'em back in with no problems. Or do I have to disconnet the battery first.
Many more to come.
thanks, and i think i'm gonna like it here.

Sami:xoutpost: good to have you here,
Do you know where the nav computer is? It is on the left of the trunk and it sits a bit high up so I don’t think the water got to it.
Unplugging the battery will not harm the car, and yes you should check the fuses, and before you buy a new unit from the dealer you should check EBay and maybe get a better unit Mk4. Good Luck
