Secondly, assuming your right, that Israeli's have a higher standard of living and a higher average median family income, - I'm a little surprised that you would use that as evidence for your support to end financial aid to Israel.
1) They are our closest ally in the M.E.
2) They have a higher standard of living and median family income because, Jews have ALWAYS stressed the importance of education and career in the household. - This has ALWAYS been the factor that has helped our culture survive from slavery to Inquistions, from holocaust to the desired destruction of the state of Israel. From the repeated Pogrom's around the world. -

Do you forget that the US and almost every other EU country including Britin, France, Poland, Germany, Russia, etc. - after the holocaust, left concentration camp survivors in camps because they would not take them as citizens. - That the country of Israel was formed because no one knew what else to do with the "survivors" who were routinely killed, after the holocaust, when they tried to return to their home villages.

Do you forget that a 2 state system was introduced in 1947 and the Palestanians rejected it and refused to negotiate?

Do you forget that Israel occupied areas that the Palestanians rejected, only after Lebanon, Egypt, Iraw, Syria attacked Israel?

Do you forget during the Desert Storm, when Saddam Hussein and the Iraq army launched Scud Missles at Israel, who had absouletely nothing to do with the conflict?

Do you forget that, any and all of the leaders of the Palestanian people, refuse to accept Israel as a state?
