Kids are kids, they will talk. Good and experienced flight attendants know how to handle kids and will always bring something e.g. cards, momentos, etc. to distract the kids. I agree some parents do not ask kids to be quite or not kick the seat in front.

Continental express, American eagle, United express, Ted have the lowest paid rookie flight attendants. I have personally experienced the rude behavior of a rookie flight attendants when she asked the passengers to sit down and shut up. She did not knew that there could be people with connectins in the plane and she lost the job next week.
