We're going to be the first network that does both long and short form to go completely digital from ingest to on-air. no network with our format has done it yet, so we'll either be the mac daddy latest greatest technology network(s) come march or we'll go black
and I'll be asking everyone if they want fries with that... .
btw- we have no unions and no hourly people, everyone is salaried so no OT and no unions (thank god), BUT, yeah, we have a massive monitoring system for not only IT systems but for the on-air stuff as well, and plenty - PLENTY of backup systems, so when something blows, my bberry goes nuts.
