All of you arguing that age is not a factor and that licenses should not be taken away:

1. No one's advocating the removal licenses.
2. In the cases where text messaging causes accidents, most likely involving young fools.

Barry can correct me if I'm wrong, but when he created this thread, he wasn't trying to end all the accidents in this country. He's addressing one category of causes. In that category, it's the younger folk that are typically guilty.

All people who drink aren't roadhazards, all old people aren't either, etc etc.

This thread is like when people say to be careful on teh roads around July 4 etc. Quit overreacting.
