You are right, it was presumptious, and I probably should not have used the work 'broke'. I don't have any outstanding credit card debt and the only thing outstanding is a Home Equity Line of Credit which is in the process of being paid off. I'm in very good financial shape actually

I bought the X5 7 years ago and it suits me just fine -- I don't need the latest and greatest.
