I agree with B. I said it the minute I heard the E70 was longer, wider, higher etc. BMW sold us out to the soccer mom crowd. They wanted to attract a segment of the market that they didn't have but forgot about their initial market in the process. I don't need 3 passenger seats in the rear or alot of cargo room so the X6 suits my needs. I would have preferred they leave the X5 as it was. I wouldn't go as far as comparing the E70 to an Escalade but agree BMW should have came out with a different vehicle for the soccer moms, X7.
