no no, I know you weren't dissing the E70, you were just voicing your opinion, and I wasn't trying to "defend" the E70, I just wanted to say that it is different than the Tahoes and Expeditions out there, and sure, BMW directed it more towards the three-row soccer mom crowd, but that doesn't mean it's not a capable machine, and I know you know that, but others may not.
And I know the X6 will be an amazing performance machine, and excel in every way, but BMW is being bold in introducing a brand new type of car and paving the way for other makers, who if BMW didn't do it, may have introduced a cheaper "test" (like maybe Subaru would have) of the market to gauge interest. But I applaud BMW for being so bold and daring, but only the future will tell.
