A fookin Peacock showed up early this evening! Some of th ol'Broads my CEO chases the ball with, had reported
seeing a "large bird" wandering around on the road and yards down our Mtn toward the Club. They couldn't id it;
said it was turkey sized, but not a turkey.
I think this is an "India Peafowl", and probably a female or immature male.
It wandered down our driveway, let me get quite close for pics, and may have bonded with me,
...it's hanging
around this eve. I suspect our gang of coyotes will find this poor fowl sooner or later.
Must be someone's pet or escaped from a zoo or...
Pretty damn weird.
