Have never owned one, but friends have and I've driven theirs
many, many times. I shopped one in my "Vert Search" back in '02
and test drove one several times, during that search.
-Great handling, fun, Teutonic interior, fun, etc.
-Was very pricey then, with reasonable options, one cannot
carry a set of fookin golf clubs and, for weekend trips I hope
it's with your girlfriend whom is packing only a bikini and toothbrush.
-Maintenance, at least on my 2 friends' BoxS's, is pricey.
-Agree that I would rather own a horse than a PCar without
warranty.
-Disagree with poster that says mid-eng. is only way to go, but
I'm biased with my Z51 susp. VetteVert.
-If I had 5 or 6 cars, I'd have a PCar but I would look at the
9 series or Cayman, imo.
-S2000 isn't in the same league, imo, except in the handling dept.
My FiftyCent is up, in the Jukebox.
