I just tried the same yesterday and I have faced the same problem.
To overcome this problem u need to adjust the setting of the color system for A/V channel on the TV. It has a special setting different from other TV channels.
I had the default setting on PAL while I was playing NTSC DVD so it used to so this flicking issue. Once u adjust the color system it will work great.
As for the TV in motion, u need NAV code & IBUS card which will be my next step.
