I heard from my dealer that the reason is related to new engine emmission regulation (according to them, not only for country import, but for everything)
If this is true then the production delay must be world wide.

I still hope to find someone who had a similar message.
If not, then knowing that I'm more or less alone will help me build the pressure at the distributor to stick to the original delivery date.

On the other hand, if this is a more widely spread problem, then it would be interesting to compare individual delays.
A college of mine had 12 weeks of delay, I had 4 (probably cause I'm already waiting delivery since November 2006..)

This is all recent info, from the last couple of weeks and not related to part problems like we had before, according to my dealership.
