I paid 550 a few years ago. Allthough it was for a 97 M3, most of it was labor. It will probably be a little different, but am not certain. The BMW shop I went to has a huge checklist that they go thru. I tried to cut out some of the BS, but they say they stick to their checklist (what a suprise).
If you or anyone is able to get a hold of the standard BMW checklist, I don't see why you can't do some of the things on your own, and cut out some BS. It's not like they are fixing your car, they are just going thru it. It should be up to you to see what you want checked.
