Unless you really want a convertible, take a look (drive) a cayman first. Sure it cost a bit more but i drove both and they are totally different beasts. In the end, Cayman came on top by a mile and im still really happy with my Cayman. And even if you want a convertible, take a look at a SLK 55. I had a slk55 before and i think thats a much more enjoyable car then the boxster. Sure the handling isn't as good as the Porsche, but i don't go track racing everyday and the roar from the v8 amg was just unbeatable.
