Wow! I'm glad mine is a garage queen. We headed out for Thai food last night and the heavens opened on the Interstate. I was glad to be in the X5. It's so poised in rough weather compared to my old 3 series. On the way back, we saw that an eighteen-wheeler had totally flipped around on the opposite side. We wouldn't have won a battle with it.

I agree that you should wait at least a year before buying one to let them get out the gremlins. A buddy bought an E39 M5 when they first came out and regretted it. Maybe Grandma is looking out for you there too
