That's a good idea taking it to Open Road. Before the car gets hauled to the body shop, see if Open Road can get a Master Tech to look at your X5 to write up what mechanicals need to be replaced, especially front and rear suspension. Body shop guys are not good at assessing mechanical damage.

Your insurance company, at this point, is an interested 3rd party. At this point, it's between you and the other guy's insurance company. His insurance company should be covering it 100%.
