Hello everyone, new 04 4.4i owner here. I've searched and searched around for PDC retrofit kits for my 04 4.4i and have come up basically empty. I did come across a couple part numbers but cannot confirm whether they will work.

So, the background information that I've gathered: The 2004 MY offered the PDC as an option and then standard equipment on 05-06. The previous owner of my car did not order it. As far I understand, if 2004 MY X5s did not have PDC installed, there is no wiring harness installed in front in which to connect the PDC sensor harness. Also, I must buy a new front bumper cover since the 04-06 body refresh had PDC-specific covers with sensor clips built into the bumper.

From what I've gathered there are two retrofit kits available for MY prior to 2004: 66200007032 (from 6/02) and 66200142168 (from 10/03). I also saw online at Circle BMW a wire harness which i believe to be the missing part in the non-PDC 04 X5s: 61120010135. When i spoke to a parts technician, he said it was "PDC Wire Harness Step 1" with "step 1" referring to the front of the vehicle.

My hunch is that one of the PDC retrofit kits plus the PDC wiring harness might be what I need in my car. Would anyone be able to confirm this?
