If you want, I can arrange to bring the X5 to work if you want to come by and we can listen to the same CD car to car and see if it is really the car or just our different expectations.

It is the wife's car, but with some planning I can bring it in most any day.

Not sure if you are ever in the OC?

Maybe the impedance is off? Halston or Micah, could that be a possible issue. I did not install this system (did not have the time personally), so I am not 100% sure about the wiring and gains.
