I believe LAX does not have an on-site location for any of the rental company. It has the "purple station" where people wait for the appropriate shuttles. There is a plethora of car rentals. Dollar was the most packed shuttles if I remember right. Hardly anybody was on Hertz and their lot was huge. Everything else seemed like a few people would get on including Enterprise. I can't remember how Avis was. It seemed as if LAX had every car rental in the business and I wouldn't be surprised it if they did. They also had a few locals which I never would have know until seeing them. One of them as mentioned above was

Also once you are getting off the airport, they have BMW advertisements that tell you to text this number but I wasn't sure what the deal was with that one. Do they have a dealer at the airport or a dealer that rents bmws? I just remembered now and can't find anything about it.
