I may be wrong, but I don't think the key will allow you to choose between seat positions 1, 2, or 3. Again, someone chime in if they have better information. The dealer can program your key for one of those settings. The dealer can program your second key for a different position (my wife's key is set to seat position 2). However, I THINK you can override the dealer positions by adjusting the seat before you turn off the truck and take the key out of the ignition. I say this because the thing that drives me up the wall is that my wife still grabs my key and takes off in the X. Ok that bugs me too
, but my point is that my key seems to remember the last position the seat was in. So when I finally get the truck back (she knows a good thing when she drives it), I'm in her cramped position 2. When I select 1 and get back out of the truck, my key remembers the correct position. Anyway...
