Actually you can program them both but here the deal. After you program the keys the vehicle has to be locked using the remote when you exit the vehicle. Then whoever opens the vehicle next using their key the truck will adjust the seat for that key. We leave the X in the garage and it is never locked. So at home this is a pain so the wife just pushes position #2 when she opens the door.
