I agree with acedeucy.

The two main difference that I thought of right away are that the ones you pictured are appendages and stick out off the seat back, reducing space and just get in the way. If you want to fold down your rear seats for greater cargo volume, and the front seats are not fully forward, the rear seat backs might hit the DVD screens. The other thing is that you are limited to watching only one source for both monitors through an external (another thing to mount) DVD player. What if one passenger wants to watch a movie and the other wants to play PS2? You can't do that with the OEM system but the Invision system allows you to view two different sources at the same time: one in each monitor. Plus there is no additional player to mount.
