BBS and Borbet have both supplied BMW OEM application wheels for years. The E34 wire basket wheels were BBS, as were the 2 piece wheels on the E39 sports models.

BBS was an independent company up until recently when they went bankrupt and were purchased by Punch Int'l. which also owns ZF.
