Hmm...

I took a couple of pictures of my mat (driver). See here for back

The light grey is some kind of foam, the circular pad looks like the loop side of velcro, but there's clearly nothing on the floor to stick to the black pad. The overall mat slides around pretty freely on the carbeted floor.

This is a closeup of the front side of the mat at the edge. I show it for two reasons:

One is to note that the floor carpet (between the rolled edge and the black plastic) shows a relatively small pile carpet similar to the mat itself. It looks nice, but provides no significant texture for the foam or velcro to catch.

The other is the CHEAP result of using the mat for 4 weeks. Just 4 weeks and the pile is tearing up and coming off, notice it showing over the rolled edge. Yes, the mat needs a vacuum, but that's not my point -- what you see is the mat coming apart not (just) dirt.

Cheap and ugly.

Anyway... does this look like your mat that doesn't slide around?
