Same here...had front pads/rotors and an inspection on my 330 in the last month of warranty. Pads were pretty worn but sensor had not been triggered. Also, it was still a few thousand miles away from needing inspection. I had worked with the SA for a number of years so he did me a favor.

No harm in asking but I would say that getting stuff done before its time is definitely the exception rather than the rule.

Generally, if it ain't broken they ain't fixin it.
