The code your looking for is on a card that came with the vehicle when it was shipped. If you don't have that card more than likely you will need to go into the dealer and perhaps with your vin # that code will be provided from BMW.

However, when I look in the back under the NAV unit I don't see anything that resembles a deck of cards or that has any kind of code on it. Some one said something about removing the spare tire but I am not sure how that will help me get to the code.
It does look like I am pre-wired for a CD changer which made me happy. If anyone has picture or a link to a picture of what this is supposed to look like could you post it for me?
