Is the relay located behind the fan assembly or is it the one on the top side of the radiator? I am getting power to the plug that runs to the fan assembly but i did not follow it all the way down to the fan motor itself. The clutch is not engaging but that may be because the sensors are communicating that the fan is not turning and keeping the clutch from engaging as a safty measure. 2001 X5's had a bad issue with the fan burning up that led to this from my reading.
