I tend to agree with you, the C is a hard car to beat, it really offers alot and a great look for the money, It really does not compete in the HP area as the current C350 is only 268hp (but a wonderful engine) I suspect they will introduce a new V6 engine in time for the 2009 E Class which should debut here shortly
The Interior of the C (I got to test drive one) I REALLY nice, Benz has finally put it's money to the masses although they have the cheapest looking shifter I have EVER seen (Plastic) Other then that it's a beautiful car
The 3 doesn't look dated to me, it's simply been out since mid-2005 and everyone and their mother now owns one (Including my mother
) So I feel the design has become pedestrian
