My response was predicated on the message threads prior to yours. JayX5 and rodberg007 were speaking of OBDII port scanners available at Autozone or eBay. Excuse me if I'm not a mindreader, but it wasn't until your 3rd message that you spoke of wanting to perform both diagnostics and programming through the OBDII port.
If you bought the software and pass through devices to emulate the BMW GT1/SSS diagnostics system on eBay, my condolences to you. Chances are you bought something that was cloned in China or Russia and by the same eBay auctioneers selling fake Rolex watches and bootleg copies of the Simpsons Movie.
If you want to do it right, you can buy the entire BMW OBDII GT1/SSS diagnostics system from a BMW approved vendor. It's all spelled out right here:

Figure about $7,000 including a BMW approved laptop workstation. There was a write up in Bimmerfest by Cobra Dave on the configuration he uses. Good luck with your quest...
