I am sure that APPL cares and that they are on a revenue sharing plan with AT&T. In the US, the phone only works on the AT&T and t-mobile network, and AT&T have the lion's share of the market. They made the right decision in going with AT&T. In Europe, I think the market is different, and the phone can work on all the networks, so I think APPL has more of an incentive to get in with all the phone companies there.
