The law of averages tells you that the next armed robbery in Baltimore will most likely be committed by a black man. So I guess Baltimore citizens should all be extra cautious of black men walking the streets at night.
The law of averages tells you that the next racial murder in Mississippi will most likely be committed by a white christian man. So I guess citizens of Mississippi should be extra cautious of all white christian men.
But such crimes are so infrequent and committed by such a tiny percentage of the population that profiling in this way is not even a tiny bit useful and is more of an annoyance to common people who are not criminals.
Even if someone was to come forward and say that they knew who these guys were, then what? They have not committed any crime, have they?
Some people apparently want to throw away our entire legal system in order to fight against terrorism instead of just addressing the causes of terrorism.
