Hello again, I was talking with my buddy today about what type of engine oil brand name is a good one to use for my 4.4 X. So we came up with 3 types that should work great. I just wanted to know what every one else thought about them, and what the hell is the difference. LOL!

Castrol syntec 5w-30

Mobil 1 5w-30

BMW High Performance 5w-30

If I were to put Castrol which BMW recommends, is this the same oil that comes with the BMW hp oil? I'm just curious as to I've been taken it to the dealer for the oil changes but I'm the type of guy that likes to get his hands dirty once in a while on the weekends. If anyone can shed some light here I'd really appreciate it. Thanks...
