My 540 has CODE and all the 7-series V8 cars do as well.
I don't think it was ever available on the 3-series...??

I have a 3rd series with immobiliser and on board computer but don't see the CODE function so maybe it can be enabled throught IBUS in cars with the right "hardware" (immobiliser etc)??!!
