He's almost 7 years old (born 9/13/00) a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier
because I have a fenced in backyard...best solution IMO; although we have had issues with foxes or whatever jumping into backyards and attacking the dogs. I have landscaping in front of the fences so I'm not too worried about it.
