because I have a fenced in backyard...best solution IMO; although we have had issues with foxes or whatever jumping into backyards and attacking the dogs. I have landscaping in front of the fences so I'm not too worried about it.
I thought it was a bouvier des flandres... if you didnt wrote it was a wheaten terrier.
