You have to extract the SatNav unit first, disconnect it from harness and antenna and put it out of the way. Then you have to dismount and set aside the rear light bulb holder. Collapse the folding top compartment up to provide more manouvering room and visibility. Pull out the trunk floor panel and dismount the left utility tray. Take off the plastic pressure rivets off and then pull the side panel out starting at the upper rim, over the rear lights and progressing forward. Then do the vertical side, going down close to the rear light assembly. When you have freed all in that direction, pull at the deeper side close to the back seats. It will resist and protest loudly, it will require some effort and need some spirited pulling at times, but it will take an important amount of abuse without later showing any creases or wrinkles. No matter what, do not cut or modify the side panel in any way. If you think you need to do that you are not doing it properly.

If it is the CD-Changer connector you want to get to you will need to dismount the radio module holding bracket first (three bolts), then the CD-Changer holder itself (5 bolts).
