i bought it at
www.jr.com got it for $1299 no tax and cheap shipping (they're extremely reputable, been buying electronics from them for over 20 years)
b&h has them in stock for $1299 too.
i got the new grip (Bg-e2n) from 17th st photo (
www.17photo.com) because they had it for only $20 more than the bg-e2, but b&h and other places were selling them for well over $200)
i also ordered 2 4GB cf cards from amazon because they have the sandisk extreme iii's on sale for $63.95 each(at least they did the other day.)
