As I said above, the system Chavez is "threatening" to use is the one we use here. This is the way it has been for decades, long before Bush.

And yes, there is plenty of propoganda in US public school textbooks. When I was in school, the history textbooks said that the Spanish sunk the USS Maine and that the RMS Lusitania was not a military cargo ship, even though such claims had been established as propoganda and lies many decades earlier.

I doubt it is different no matter which country you go to. They want little children to grow up indoctrinated to think their country is great.
