WOW...What a FUC**NG IDIOT. When you push the button NOTHING HAPPENS!!! What did he think I was talking about. Unfortunatly I didnt notice this till after I left. There is even a SIB that discusses this problem!

Functional Bookmark Button #3 Inoperative or Activates on its Own
MODEL
E70 (X5) with CCC (Car Communication Computer SA 609)
Vehicles produced up to January 23, 2007
SITUATION
- The customer is not able to set a functional bookmark to programmable button #3. The button cannot be pushed in as far as the other buttons to store a function.
- The CCC randomly switches to one of the stored functional bookmark settings.
CAUSE
Button carrier tolerance
PROCEDURE
- If button #3 cannot be pushed in as far as the other buttons of the front panel, modify the carrier as per the procedure in the attachment.
- Replace the button panel carrier on the CCC as per Repair Manual RA 6583565.
