This is going a bit off-topic, but the place I always try to go for a lunch or dinner in NYC is The Bread Factory, which is off the corner of 35th and 7th Av. in Manhattan. Compared to everywhere else, it's actually relatively inexpensive and the food is great. They toast the large slice of pizza right in front of you when you order it, so it's sizzlin the way its supposed to be when you get it. Plus, the desserts are nice too.
