Curious what 'apps' you need that can't run on an apple?

I was against apple for the longest time because of cost, I build my own PC's as well, but once I got an Apple there was no going back. Hell, few if any viruses alone is worth it if you have a business that requires the Internet.
CAD and CAM software mostly, like SolidWorks and MasterCAM. And there are MANY other choices available in those areas, not just one program from a proprietary company like Apple.

Then there's one of my favorite leisure activities, games. Not too many that I know of are able to be played on a MAC. At least not without having to install Windows on it first. I don't like the game consoles because I think the controllers suck compared to a mouse, keyboard, and good joystick. Most of the games available to play on them don't interest me either. So getting a MAC for computing and a game console for play isn't an option for me.

I'm not really AGAINST Apple computers, they're great for all sorts of things. But a PC can usually do the same things and more. Apple just doesn't quite fill all of my needs for computing.
