So a week after ditching that piece of junk Casio EX-Z77, and being hassled at a BB store (Deerfield IL) I went this week to look for a new one, at a different, brand new store. (Northbrook/Glenview IL) I was completely torn between the Canon SD1000 and SD750, and I was leaning towards the SD1000. So I go to this new store (much nicer inside) and the two are conveniently next to each other. After playing with them both, I still had no clue which one I wanted. I finally decided the SD750 because of its bigger screen and better controls. But one thing. They changed the price! Online yesterday it was 260, on the price tag on the camera on display it was 275, and online it was either 280 or 299. I was throughly confused, but they nice salesman said he'd give me the lowest price (it was supposed it be 299, he made it 275) and then took $25 off that because of the restocking fee I had to pay on the old camera. So my final price was $249.00.
